Steps for Online Application of Exam
- Candidates need to search and get to the authorized SSC site: “ssc.nic.in”.
- They must get themselves signed up and registered with the required credential details.
- The application form has to filled and the prescribed documents need to be attached.
- Application fee must be cleared and whether all entered info is correct should be verified.
- Candidates have to submit the form and save a print of it for future reference.
Eligibility Requirements
- Nationality/ Citizenship: The applying candidate must be a permanent resident/ citizen of Indian territories. Except this, an official subject from neighboring countries like Nepal and Bhutan are also eligible. If the person is of Indian origin, had been living outside India in other Asian territories or states, and wants to migrate back to India with the intent of permanent residence, he/she is considered eligible for the exam.
- Age Limit: For Pay Level-7 & 8 posts: 18-30 years
For Pay Level-6, 5 & 4 posts: 18-27 years
Permissible age relaxation depends on category-code of the candidate.
- Educational Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications: The Candidate needs to hold a “Bachelor’s Degree” from an acknowledged University/Institution.
- Desirable Qualifications: “Chartered Accountant”/ “Cost & Management Accountant”/ “Company Secretary”/ “Masters in Commerce”/ “Masters in Business Studies”/ “Masters in Business Administration (Finance)”/ “Masters in Business Economics”. Vacancies and Reservation:
- Tentative vacancies: There are currently around 7500 vacant seats. However, firm vacancies will be determined in due course. Amendments regarding the same along with the respective posts and category-codes will be published on the official website.
- The Board will make admissible and applicable reservation plans for SCs, STs, EWS and ESM and PwBD. The credibility and eligibility for the reservation allotments will be cross-verified by the Ministries as per Government Instructions.
- The Commission will determine the appropriation of posts for different benchmark disabilities in accordance with the “Rights of Person with Disabilities (RPwD) Act. The “Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities”, “Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment” and various other independent government organizations play crucial role in the availing process of reservations.
